Sweet potato and celeriac frieS
All of the joy, none of the guilt and a good dose of daily vegetables. You can make one or the other, though we prefer to make both sweet potato and celeriac fries together. It's never a party with just one.
1 whole sweet potato, washed and dried
1 small celeriac root, peeled
1 tbs organic coconut oil
2 tsp of HDC BBQ seasoning
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Chop celeriac and sweet potato into chip-sized pieces. Melt coconut oil until liquid. Coat chips in oil, either in a bowl or directly on oven tray. Once spread out evenly on tray, season with HDC BBQ seasoning. Place in oven and cook for 30 minutes, turning a couple times to cook evenly. After 30 minutes, turn oven up to 200°C. Continue cooking until browned.
Enjoy with your choice of HDC hot sauce or hummus. Or both.
